An engineer who moved into operations

Sanjay is an engineer by training with a career going back to the late 1980s and roughly three decades in software. He built business systems on the Microsoft stack (.NET, SQL Server and enterprise web services) long before he moved into operations leadership.

That background is the point. He knows what engineers need because he spent decades being one, so when he equips a team it is with the judgement of someone who has sat in every one of those seats.
