e10 Infotech - AI-powered software development

e10 Infotech has built custom software from Mumbai since 2011 for clients in 72 cities. Most of that work sits in five markets: New York, London, Dubai, Singapore and Sydney. Every city we serve is listed further down this page, and each one has its own page covering local working hours, contracting and rates.

Location matters less for where code gets written than for how a project is run. Measured against a 09:00 to 18:00 local day, a Mumbai team on standard hours overlaps with Dubai for 8.5 hours, with London and Singapore for 5.5, with Sydney for 3.5, and with New York for 30 minutes in summer and nothing at all in winter. That arithmetic decides whether you get a daily conversation or a nightly status email. We publish it and staff around it rather than pretending it does not exist.

What changes by location, and what does not

The engineering does not change. The senior developers who join your scoping call are the ones who write the code, in every market we serve. That is the one thing we hold constant.

Three things do change.

Working hours. Our standard day runs 10:00 to 19:00 IST, which works for Europe, the Middle East and Asia as-is. It does not work for the Americas, so we run a shifted team on 12:00 to 21:00 IST for East Coast clients, live with you from 09:00 to 11:30 ET, and 14:00 to 23:00 IST for Pacific clients, which buys about 90 minutes.

Contracting and compliance. US and UK clients usually contract through a services agreement with IP assigning on payment. UAE and Singapore procurement often wants local entity detail. EU and UK clients get a GDPR data processing addendum. We have run all of these before and do not treat them as surprises.

Data residency. Where your users' data has to live shapes the infrastructure decision, not the team decision. We deploy to whichever region your compliance requires, whether that is AWS Mumbai, Frankfurt, Virginia or Sydney.

The five primary markets

New York and the United States

Our largest client base. Typical engagements are product teams adding three to six engineers without a nine month hiring cycle, and founders building a first version who want senior people rather than a cheap prototype. Our US team runs 12:00 to 21:00 IST, which puts us live with you from 09:00 to 11:30 ET every morning. Standups, demos and decisions go in that window. Everything outside it is async by design, not by accident. See software development in New York.

London and the United Kingdom

The easiest time zone we work in. A London morning is a Mumbai afternoon, which means same-day turnaround on almost everything. UK clients tend toward retained relationships rather than fixed-scope builds. See software development in London.

Dubai and the UAE

Eight and a half hours of overlap, which is effectively a shared working day, and a short flight for a quarterly on-site. Work here skews toward internal platforms, logistics and ecommerce, often with a requirement that data stays in region. See software development in Dubai.

Singapore

Five and a half hours of overlap, the same as London, and a client base technical enough to hold architecture conversations directly with our engineers. Strong fit for fintech and B2B SaaS. See software development in Singapore.

Sydney and Australia

The overlap is short, so we front-load it. Australian clients get the first three and a half hours of our day as dedicated live time, and the rest of our day is heads-down work they review the next morning. See software development in Sydney.

What we build, wherever you are

The work does not vary by market: custom software development, web application development, mobile apps for iOS and Android, AI and machine learning integration, API and systems integration, ecommerce builds, and UI/UX design. Full detail is on our services page, and the sectors we have shipped into are on industries.

How an engagement starts

You talk to engineers first, not a salesperson. A scoping call runs 45 to 60 minutes and ends with a written view of approach, team shape and a price range. If the shape is right, we start inside two weeks. Client accounts of how that plays out are on reviews, and the background on the firm is on about.

Everything worth knowing about locations.

01Which locations does e10 Infotech serve?

We work with clients in 72 cities across North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia. Our five primary markets are New York, London, Dubai, Singapore and Sydney. All engineering is delivered from our Mumbai office.

02Do you have offices outside Mumbai?

No. We run one engineering office in Mumbai and deliver remotely to every market on this page. We travel for kickoffs and quarterly reviews when a client wants face time. We do not maintain sales offices that you would end up paying for through your rate.

03How much time zone overlap will I actually get?

Against a 09:00 to 18:00 local day: Dubai 8.5 hours, London and Singapore 5.5, Sydney 3.5, and New York effectively nothing on our standard 10:00 to 19:00 IST day. That is why US clients get a shifted team on 12:00 to 21:00 IST, which gives a 2.5 hour live window from 09:00 ET. We would rather show you the arithmetic than quote a comfortable number.

04Can you work US Pacific hours?

Yes, on 14:00 to 23:00 IST, which gives roughly 90 minutes of live overlap with a Pacific morning. It costs more, because it means paying engineers to work through the Indian evening and night. We normally recommend it only when a client genuinely needs live pairing rather than a daily sync.

05Who owns the intellectual property?

You do. IP assigns to you on payment under our standard services agreement, with no carve-outs for reusable components unless we flag a specific open source dependency and you agree to it in writing beforehand.

06How do you handle GDPR and data residency?

We sign a data processing addendum for EU and UK clients and deploy to whichever cloud region your compliance requires. We do not move production data into our own environment. Engineers work against anonymised or synthetic data unless there is a documented reason not to.

07What does an offshore development team cost?

Rates depend on seniority and engagement length, not on where you are calling from. We price engineering time at Indian market rates and give you a range at the end of the scoping call, before any commitment.

08Is there a minimum engagement size?

Our smallest useful engagement is roughly two engineers for three months. Below that, ramp-up cost outweighs the value, and we will say so rather than take the work.

09How quickly can a team start?

Two weeks for a standard team shape once scope is agreed. Specialist skills such as a particular ML framework or an unusual legacy stack can take three to four weeks.

10Do I talk to engineers or account managers?

Engineers. The people in your scoping call are the people who build the thing. There is no account management layer relaying technical questions back and forth.

11What happens if I want to bring the work in-house later?

That is a normal end state and we plan for it. Code lives in your repositories from day one, documentation is written as we go, and we run a handover period with your incoming team at no extra rate.

12How is this different from a nearshore team in Eastern Europe or Latin America?

Nearshore buys time zone overlap at a higher rate. Offshore from India buys a lower rate with less overlap. Which is better depends on whether your work needs constant live conversation or clean async handoffs. We will tell you when nearshore is the better answer. The full comparison, with the overlap math, is in nearshore vs offshore development.

13Can you sign an NDA before we discuss the project?

Yes. Send yours or use ours. We sign before the scoping call whenever a client asks.

14Do you work with startups or established companies?

Both. Since 2011 we have built first versions for funded startups and run long-term platform work for established firms. The team shape differs. The seniority does not.

15Which industries have you shipped into?

Media and broadcast, fintech, ecommerce, logistics, healthcare and B2B SaaS. Sector detail is on our industries page.
