Acceptable Use Policy

What may not be done with systems, websites, hosting, campaigns and software that e10 Infotech builds or operates, covering prohibited content, system abuse, outreach rules and enforcement.

Last updated: 29 July 2026. This version replaces all earlier versions.

This acceptable use policy sets out what may not be done with the systems, websites, hosting, campaigns and software that e10 Infotech Private Limited builds, hosts or operates. It applies to clients, their staff and any end user of a service we provide, and it forms part of our terms of service.

Why this exists

We are accountable to our infrastructure providers, advertising platforms, payment providers and email networks. If work we deliver is used to break their rules or the law, the whole account is at risk, along with the deliverability, uptime and reputation of every other client on it. This policy is how we keep that from happening.

Content you must not publish or process

  • Material that is unlawful under Indian law or the law where it is published or accessed
  • Content that infringes copyright, trademarks, patents, trade secrets or moral rights
  • Child sexual abuse material, and any content that sexualises a minor, in any form
  • Content that incites violence, terrorism, or hatred against a person or group
  • Harassment, threats, doxxing, or the publication of another person private information without lawful basis
  • Defamatory or knowingly false statements presented as fact
  • Deceptive material, including impersonation, forged headers, fake reviews, counterfeit goods, pyramid schemes and fraudulent investment offers
  • Malware, ransomware, exploit kits, credential stealers, or code intended to damage or gain unauthorised access
  • Regulated or restricted goods and services offered without the licences the law requires

Things you must not do to systems

  • Probe, scan or test the security of a system you do not own or have written permission to test
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to an account, server, network or dataset, or to escalate your own privileges
  • Interfere with service through denial of service traffic, mail bombing, resource exhaustion or deliberate overload
  • Circumvent authentication, rate limits, licence controls, paywalls or usage quotas
  • Scrape a third party site or interface in breach of its terms, or evade its bot protection
  • Introduce a backdoor, unauthorised tracker, hidden miner or undisclosed data exfiltration into a deliverable
  • Resell, sublicense or expose infrastructure we manage for you as a general purpose service to unrelated third parties without agreement
  • Use production systems as a staging ground for unrelated workloads, or store material unrelated to the engagement

Email, messaging and advertising

If we run outreach, email, messaging or paid media for you, or hand you a system that can send:

  • Send only to recipients from whom the required consent or lawful basis exists, with proof available on request
  • Keep an accurate sender identity, a working reply address and a functioning one click unsubscribe
  • Honour unsubscribes and suppression lists promptly, and never re add a suppressed contact
  • Do not buy, rent, scrape or trade contact lists
  • Respect the registry and consent rules that apply to telephone and SMS contact in the recipient country, including India do not disturb registration
  • Do not make claims in advertising you cannot substantiate, and follow each platform advertising policy
  • Do not run advertising for a category a platform prohibits, and do not use cloaking or redirect tricks to get it approved

Data protection obligations

Where a system we build processes personal data, you remain responsible for what is collected, why, and on what lawful basis. You must give users the notices the law requires, honour their rights, and not ask us to load personal data into an environment that was not scoped to hold it. Do not place production personal data in a staging or demo environment. Our handling of personal data is described in the privacy policy.

Content and rights you supply

You confirm that copy, images, video, fonts, code, data and trademarks you give us are yours to use, or are properly licensed for the purpose, and that you will tell us of any restriction on how they may be used. If a licence lapses, tell us so we can replace the asset.

Reporting abuse

If you see something hosted or sent by a system we operate that breaches this policy, write to hello@e10infotech.com with the URL or message headers and what you believe is wrong. We investigate promptly and confidentially. Reports of a security vulnerability should follow our security policy.

What happens if this policy is breached

Our response is proportionate. We usually raise it with you first and give a period to fix it. Where there is a live risk to safety, security, legal exposure or the standing of shared infrastructure, we may remove or disable the offending content or account immediately and tell you straight after. Serious or repeated breach is a material breach of contract and may end the engagement, and we may be obliged to report unlawful activity to the authorities. Fees remain payable for work performed.

Frequently asked questions

Who does this acceptable use policy apply to?

Clients, their staff and any end user of a system, website, hosting, campaign or software that e10 builds, hosts or operates.

Can I send a bought or scraped email list through a system you built?

No. You may only contact recipients for whom the required consent or lawful basis exists, and buying, renting or scraping lists is not permitted.

Can I use a system you built to scan or test another website?

Only if you own it or hold written permission to test it. Unauthorised probing or scanning is prohibited.

What happens if a client breaches this policy?

We usually raise it and give you time to fix it. Where there is live risk to safety, security or shared infrastructure we may disable the content or account immediately and tell you straight after.

Can I put real customer data in a staging environment?

No. Production personal data must stay in the environment scoped to hold it. Use anonymised or synthetic data for staging and demos.

Who is responsible for the legality of content I ask you to publish?

You are. You confirm you hold the rights and that the material is lawful where it is published and accessed.

Can I resell hosting or infrastructure you manage for me?

Not without agreement. Infrastructure we manage for your engagement may not be exposed as a general purpose service to unrelated third parties.

Do I need to honour unsubscribes immediately?

Yes. Unsubscribes and suppression lists must be honoured promptly and a suppressed contact must never be re added.

What do I do if I find abusive content on a site you host?

Email hello@e10infotech.com with the URL or the message headers and what you believe is wrong. We investigate promptly and confidentially.

Where do I report a security vulnerability instead?

Through our security policy, which sets out the responsible disclosure route and what we ask you not to do while testing.

Do the rules differ by country?

The baseline applies everywhere, and additional local rules apply on top, including consent and registry rules for telephone and SMS contact in the recipient country.

Does this policy override my contract?

No. It forms part of our terms of service. Where your signed project document addresses the same subject, that document takes precedence for your project.
