Accessibility Statement

e10 Infotech Private Limited wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, rely on magnification, or need reduced motion. This accessibility statement sets out what we aim for, where we know we fall short, and how to tell us about a barrier.

The standard we work to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA. We are stating an aim rather than claiming full conformance, because we have not completed an independent audit of every page and we would rather be accurate than reassuring. Accessibility is treated as ongoing work, not a box that was ticked once.

What we do

• Use semantic headings in a logical order, so a screen reader can navigate structure
• Provide text alternatives for images that carry meaning, and mark decorative images so they are skipped
• Keep colour contrast at or above the level AA ratio for body text and interface elements
• Make interactive elements reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator
• Label form fields properly, and describe errors in text rather than by colour alone
• Allow text to be resized and the page to reflow without loss of content or function
• Respect the reduced motion preference set in your operating system
• Write link text that makes sense on its own, rather than click here
• Test with keyboard only navigation and with a screen reader as part of our own build process

Where we know we fall short

Being honest about the gaps is more useful than a blanket claim. The areas we are working on are:

• Some older blog images predate our current process and may have weak or missing alternative text
• Complex diagrams and charts may lack a full text equivalent, so the detail is harder to reach without sight
• Embedded third party content, including video players, maps and analytics widgets, is not fully under our control and may not meet the same standard
• Some video material does not yet have captions or a transcript
• A small number of interface components have not been tested against every combination of browser and assistive technology

If any of these blocks you, contact us and we will provide the information another way while we fix the underlying issue.

Third party content

Where a page embeds a service someone else operates, the accessibility of that component is governed by its provider. We raise problems with the provider, and we look for a more accessible alternative where one exists. Where no reasonable alternative exists we will supply the content another way on request.

Assistive technology and browsers

The site is built with standard, current web technology and should work with mainstream screen readers, magnifiers, speech input and browser reading modes on an up to date browser. Very old browsers may render the site imperfectly. If a specific combination fails for you, please tell us which one, because that detail is what lets us reproduce and fix it.

Accessibility in the work we deliver

Accessibility applies to what we build for clients as well as to our own site. We can include accessibility requirements in a scope, build to level AA, and arrange remediation on an existing product. Where a client chooses not to fund that work we say plainly what the resulting gaps are, and the decision remains theirs to record.

Please include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you were using. We acknowledge within three working days and tell you what we can do and by when. There is no charge for this.

If we do not get it right

If our response does not resolve the problem, reply and ask for it to be escalated and a senior member of the team will review it. We would rather hear the complaint than lose the visitor.

We review this statement when the site changes materially, and at least once a year. The date at the top shows the current version.

Which accessibility standard does the site aim for?

What are the known accessibility problems?

Some older blog images may have weak alternative text, complex diagrams may lack a full text equivalent, some video lacks captions, and embedded third party components are outside our control.

Do you support reduced motion settings?

Yes. If your operating system requests reduced motion, the site respects that preference.

What if an embedded video or map is not accessible?

Tell us. Those components are controlled by their provider, so we raise it with them, look for a better alternative, and supply the content another way in the meantime.

How do I report an accessibility barrier?

What if I am not satisfied with your response?

Reply and ask for it to be escalated. A senior member of the team will review it.

Do you build accessible websites for clients too?

Yes. We can scope to level AA, build with accessibility in mind, and remediate an existing product. Where that work is not funded we state the resulting gaps plainly.
